Live Im Grugapark 4 tracks Running time: 1:18:56 Released: 09/2009 |
Recorded during our concert at the "Grillfest" of Schallwende. http://www.schallwen.de/ Date : 29 august 2009. Place: Grugapark Essen (Germany) review: Recorded live during an intimate concert that includes auditors of the German radio program Schwingungen, this last opus of the retro Berlin School new masters is in the same vein of their last title; The Lost Temple Of Xi Cephei. The Dutch duet reinvents nothing, its music remaining a continuity of its exploration of forgotten Berlin School roots. Beautiful, and good, retro Berlin School with a strong Dreamian influence sprinkled with a Krautrockian, even Floydian, psychedelic approach, in very misty, still psychedelic atmospheres. A little... more info

The Lost Temple Of Xi Cephei 3 tracks Running time: 1:18:53 Released: 06/2009 |
3 pieces of electronic music, Style is a mix of Berlin School, Rock and ambient space music. track 1 and 2 are recorded in a "Live" session at Eppie's Smokescreen Studio Track 3 is mainly recorded at Smokescreen by Eppie. Bert just added some pieces to it at Phrozenlight's Spacemission. Eppie has used his Flying-V for adding some rock elements to this album. ------------------------------------------- Here is my review of The Lost Temple...; Once again, the Dutch duet Dutch Space Mission brings us to the doors of a boiling cosmos. A foggy cosmos where Eppie E Hulshof’s guitar winds its solos under Bert Hülshoff’s pleasant synthesized waves, making of... more info

Cosmic Grunn 4 tracks Running time: 1:19:56 Released: 01/2009 |
Von Haulshoven and Phrozenlight teamed up again to create a new album. Cosmic Grunn is dedicated to the most beautiful province Groningen (the Netherlands). This is the right place to get your spiritual peace to make some nice floating music. --------------------------------------------------------------------- a review by Sylvain Lupari from Guts Of Darkness The French Magazine of Dark & Experimental Music Here it goes, hope my English is ok :) DUTCH SPACE MISSION Morphic intro which stagnates in a space broth, The Sky Is Crying is very representative of Dutch Space Mission works. A slow opening which is twisting idly on cosmic sounds effect. A black and cold cosmos pierced... more info

E-Live 2008 5 tracks Running time: 2:33:21 Released: 10/2008 |
On this live album, recorded in the Netherlands on 11 October 2008 at E-Live, Dutch Space Mission takes the listeners on a journey never done before. It was their first live performance, remastered directly from the soundboard recording made with a digital audio recorder. The audience parts were taken of a "bootleg" recording by mr.P., giving it even more of a "Live" feeling. The bonus track "Empty Spaces" is recorded live at Smokescreen Studio on 24 October. This album will also be available as double CD-r on AmbientLive Records www.ambientlive.com ------------------------------- Review by Sylvain Lupari Recorded during the E-Live 2008festival, this 2nd... more info

Masters Of Space & Time 4 tracks Running time: 1:00:29 Released: 04/2007 |
This was the second album of Dutch Space Mission, in 2007 released on AmbientLive records as CD-r but now available as download on MusicZeit. --------------------------------------- Here is a review by Dave Law on www.synthmusicdirect.com -------------------------------------- Dutch Space Mission are really Eppie Hulshof and Bert Hülshoff. Lovely lush half vocal pads provide a soothing but also ethereal start to 'Die Stimme Des Alls'. Gradually darker drones take a hold punctuated by some excellent twittering electronic effects. A first rate sequence gradually emerges then fades away again, keeping re-emerging and disappearing. All the time a wonderful but mournful cello melody almost weeps over the top. This is... more info
