David Schombert, born in Paris 1971, is a French independent electronic musician, producer and sound artist based in Portugal. Since fifteen years and 7 albums (exclusively Internet released), with more 250 000 downloads from 80 countries , his melodic ambient electronic music was acclaimed and used by many TV, radios, NASA, CNES, publicities, etc.
David Schombert always sought to explore new soundworlds. So, since “The Gate Of Silence (2007)”, critically acclaimed dark/ethereal ambient music project, with more 20 000 listeners, he lefts melodic electro/ambient music to explore poetic and dark drone ambient soundscapes and experimental concrete music.
