It was the first CD release of Phrozenlight. Comments and reviews .... Tranquil tones float above windy effects on the well titled 'Infinite Void'. You can just imagine being suspended in nothingness but seeing strange lights and nebulae clouds in the far away distance. As you will have probably guessed already this is a very atmospheric 'ambient' album. It's all about evolving soundscapes without a rhythm or sequence to be heard. Cosmic wind sounds and subtle synth flashes get this long-form work underway. Soon, melodic drones are introduced. After a while a phasing effect is applied to them, giving the sound a very early 1970's feel, reminding on both Tangerine Dream's "Zeit" and Klaus Schulze's "Blackdance". The mood of the piece is somewhat dark but a bit restrained. The sound is raw, unpolished and archaic. I think those who enjoy classic 1960's - 1970's science fiction... more info

"Phrozenlight" (Bert Hulshoff) started in 1995. He is from the Netherlands.

He creates imaginary travels into the darkness with his electronic spacescapes.

He had released a lot free albums as mp3.
There are also some cd-r's on Ambientlive Records: "Shimmering Lights", "Starlight" (2007) and "Far side of the Galaxy" (2008)
(Which are released on MusicZeit also)

Beside his solo work Phrozenlight forms together with Eppie E Hulshof(aka "Von Haulshoven") the Dutch group "Dutch Space Mission". They released the albums "Dutch Space Mission" (2006) (on Archive) and "Masters of Space and Time"(2007)(on Ambientlive Records).
Their Live album "Dutch Space Mission E-Live 2008" is released on Ambientlive Records and MusicZeit.
A new DSM album, "Cosmic Grunn" is released only on MusicZeit.
